Margaret Two weeks before I started “HOT “Yoga I went to see a Knee Specialist for a knee replacement consultation, I have DJD (Degenerative Joint Disease) of the Knee , it was very painful and at times. I couldn’t climb stairs or ride my bike. I started “HOT “Yoga" at Bikram Yoga Everett and the pain in my knee has all but gone away, I can ride my bike and stairs are no problem.
Along with that I have more energy, lost weight, inches and best of all not as much pain on my knee. I can’t do all the poses but even just trying has brought me great rewards."

Neil Rogers I started Bikram Yoga as beginner new to Yoga in January of 2010. Besides having a "few" pounds to lose, I have persistent injuries to numerous joints (shoulder, elbow, back, knee, etc.) that always hurt. Well, after 12 weeks of Yoga (approx. forty 90 minute classes) coupled with a sensible diet, I have lost 34 pounds, or 15.3% of my body weight. In addition, my overall pain has significantly decreased. When I started, my right shoulder was healing from surgery 9 months earlier. I could only raise my arm above my shoulder with difficulty, and usually with great pain. Now, the pain is almost entirely gone, and I have full range of motion again. My back and elbow pain is also greatly reduced. I would be lying if I said the classes were easy, but 90 minutes of discomfort is much easier than being in constant pain throughout the day.
