Coaching Sessions at Bikram’s Everett Studio

- Sunday Jan 22 noon - 1:30pm
- Sunday Jan 29 noon - 1:30pm
- Sunday Feb 4 noon - 1:30pm
- Sunday Feb 11 noon - 1:30pm
The class is for students who will compete in the 2011 WA State Yoga Asana Championship. Students may come to any or all three sessions. No additional fee for the sessions, but attendees must be registered to compete ($45 to register, $0 for Youth). Attendees are encouraged to take the morning beginners class before the coaching class.
- The format, rules, regulation and purpose of the USA Yoga Asana Championship.
- How to accurately demonstrate the art of hatha yoga, despite your ability in the postures. The 5 compulsory poses will be reviewed, and we will help you choose 2 optional poses if needed. We will practice some advance postures together.
- How to develop your postures beyond your current limits.
- How to prepare your 3-minute routine.
The coaching sessions are free for those who are competing. If you are not sure yet and want to try out, please come to any of the coaching sessions. Each session costs $15. If you decide to compete, the money you paid will apply to the $45 registration fee.
